After performing at the PGA Championship major, where Tiger Woods failed to overcome the cat, he did not take part in new starts, but managed to improve his position in the World Ranking, where Woods is now fifth. Tiger “pushed” Justin Thomas, who, due to a hand injury, did not perform after Masters major, and this was the only change in the top-10. So high in the main table of ranks Woods did not climb since June 2014.
Meanwhile, Charles Schwab Challenge tournament winner Kevin Na jumped over 21st place and reached the 31st place, and his main pursuer Tony Finau is now on the 13th. Jordan Spieth, who moved up to the 29th line of the Rating, slightly improved his position.
Andrew Putnam, who finished third last week, jumped from 62nd to 49th place in a very timely manner, which would allow him to take part in The Open Championship major. Also, Putnam got a good chance to qualify for the US Open major, which will be held next month. To do this, the American must stay in the top 60 Rating until June 10.
