Kevin Na approached the final round of the Charles Schwab Challenge tournament as a one-man leader, outrunning by two blows a whole group of formidable pursuers headed by Jordan Spieth, Tony Finau and Jim Furyk. At the very beginning of the round, Kevin designed three birdies, and later on, none of the applicants were able to impose a fight on him, allowing him to win the title on one of his favorite fields.
"Every time I came here, I knew that I had a chance to win," said Na, speaking in the final round four hits better than a par. - And I knew that before the end of my career I would win a title here or even a few. Very pleased that I managed to win here. I hope I have time to do it a few more times.”
The second line was occupied by Fino, who performed powerfully on the final day of the contest. Recall that Tony won his only victory in the PGA Tour about three years ago and since then has managed to finish 21 times in the top ten, which is the best result for this period. Third place was shared by Andrew Putnam and C.T. Pan, but in the final round, Spieth played worse than a par and deprived himself of the hope of interrupting the protracted series without a victory.
