European Tour: BMW International Open, results. Andrea Pavan won the playoff

At the final day of BMW International Open tournament, a whole group of pursuers rushed to chase the leader, and half a dozen contenders for the title managed to reach the top of the standings. At the end, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Andrea Pavan continued the fight for the main trophy, collecting six minuses in the final round. In the end of the round, it seemed that the Matthew was able to resolve the issue in his favor, but he made a bogey on the second to last hole, and his final birdie only ensured participation in the playoff.

Fitzpatrick and Pavan had to return to the 18th hole, which by the first attempt they together passed and went to the par. At the second call, Andrea has not hit the best way from tee, but managed to perform a spectacular birdie that allowed him to win the long-awaited title.
“Before this week I played quite well, but sometimes I ruined the drives. With this, I often have problems,” said Pavan, who rose to the first hundred of the World Rating. “This hole doesn't suit me much, but I managed to perform birdie.”
