Yikes! It looks like in the chaos of The Internet Archive and Fidelity, Game Freak got hit hard. Good luck to the employees and others that had their info breached.https://lnkd.in/gjMsgxhf

In our game, we are seeing a behavior that truly baffles me. I'm curious if any of you have any type of explanation. Our game demo is live on Steam (https://lnkd.in/giAk9qY5).We are seeing an oddly large percentage of our players who open the game, "play" for 1 minute and then close the game. Like, this is not even enough time to hit the Play button. Can anyone suggest an explanation for why a Steam user would install a game demo, open the game, and then almost immediately close it?

Here is a fun version of this game: find the minimum number of Queens, by LinkedIn you need to place before the game solves itself. You can also eliminate squares, instead of placing Queens.Once you learn the methods in the Official walkthrough, you should look to get better, by spending less time marking X's. Even better is to find one or two placements, after which the Game solves itself. A game solves itself when: 1) Auto X's are on, 2) there is always just one colour left after each move, until the game is solved. In Game 104, can you guess how many colours or squares that you need to place before the game solves itself?Surprisingly, for such a simple game, you have to place more than a single Queen before the game solves itself. I placed an X at R2C4, try to find the justification for that.As you can see the game now unravels & solves itself.

Let's Catchhttps://lnkd.in/dWQKKweZIn the game "Let's Catch" you will find yourself in front of a square game board, divided into a multitude of cells. On this board, squares of different colors with numbers inscribed in them will appear. You will need to carefully examine all the objects and find squares with the same color and number. After you have chosen one of these squares, move it to another object. The squares will merge, and you will get a new number. In this exciting game, you will need to react quickly and think strategically to score as many points as possible. Try your hand at "Let's Catch" and improve your results with each new game!

Even better is to find one or two placements, after which the Game solves itself. A game solves itself when: 1) Auto X's are on, 2) there is always just one colour left after each move, until the game is solved. In Game 100, can you guess how many colours or squares that you need to place before the game solves itself?I placed Dark Yellow, Aqua, Light Grey and Brown: the game solved itself afterwards. But, you will see an error in my placements -- I left the light yellow open and it looks like I had to guess on the orange, which wasn't true. Now, as I have said, you have to solve the game first to get to this extension of the game. And the placements might not have sufficient logical justications, unlike the original game. (In fact, this is a good mathematical question to ask.)1. Dark Yellow, Blue is confined to C1, so Dark Yellow in C2 by elimination.2. Light Grey at R3C6, because Light Grey at R5C6 would eliminate yellow.3. Aqua, if confined to R10, can be placed at R10C11. The light grey and brown queen produce orange line in C7 and a dark Aqua line in C8. This is going to end up confining Red to R11 and so light Aqua to R10.4. Either Brown or Pink is Row 7, since the the Cover 8 places Blue in R9. But Pink is confined to Row 8, therefore Brown at R7C5 is the only possible placement. Now the game solves itself, if you don't make a mistake!

💐 The comedic and very British 'Thank Goodness You're Here!' released on 1st August, so we thought we'd take a look at how it's reviewed so far. With a current average score of 83 from 45 critical reviews and counting, the developer, Coal Supper should be very pleased with that performance. Based on review score, at this moment in time, it's sitting in 25th place out of all new games released to date in 2024, a really solid start for a quirky, indie game full of adult humour. Will you give it a go?💻 Our global, quantitative and qualitative Commercial, Consumer, Press & Social metrics provide actionable insights for data driven decisions. Games which Solve themself, Queens, by LinkedIn.Here is a fun version of this game: find the minimum number of Queen's or X's you need to place before the game solves itself! A little harder than just solving the game.Once you learn the 3 methods in the Official walkthrough, you should look to get better, by spending less time marking X's. Even better is to find one or two placements, after which the Game solves itself. A game solves itself when: 1) Auto X's are on, 2) there is always just one colour left after each move, until the game is solved. In Game 103, can you guess how many colours or squares that you need to place before the game solves itself? There is a hitch in this game because around the 24 second mark, the game doesn't actually solve itself. I would have needed to put an X in blue square. What is very cool, though, about this game is that if you take the 6 cover in rows and columns, you can place the purple, orange and blue almost instantly.Look for the the blues at R8C2 and R9C9 to touch and therefore eliminate the orange at R8C9!

Probabilistic Tic-Tac-Toehttps://ift.tt/xczl81fThinking about life and randomness, Cameron Sun modified the classic game of Tic-Tac-Toe. You choose where you want to go but don’t control the outcome:[I]n any given game of Probabilistic Tic-Tac-Toe you can do everything right and still lose (or do everything wrong and win.) However, the better player always rises to the top over time. These are characteristics that I find interesting about a lot of other games, and I thought they’d be fun to apply to an otherwise boring, solved game like tic-tac-toe. They’re also highly relevant to my life philosophy – that every outcome is effectively random, but our actions can often skew the odds in our favor. Bad breaks are inevitable, but good judgment is always rewarded (eventually, and given enough chances.)The code is available on GitHub.Tags: Cameron Sun, game, probabilityINFOvia FlowingData https://flowingdata.comJune 14, 2024 at 10:14AM
